Project Description
Desert X AlUla is a recurring, site-responsive, international art exhibition taking place in AlUla. The 2022 exhibition featured newlycommissioned works by 15 artists bringing a plurality of voices from around the world.
HCC was engaged for the construction works for Prince Sultan Bin Fahad’s Desert Kite art piece: a mud bricks structures based on thedesert kites (monumental structures that past population of Arabia used to trap wild animals) to exhibit the art piece itself: afibreglass structure
HCC supervised and implemented the construction works of this funnel-shaped installation that comprises long mudbricks wallsconverging on a circular mud bricks-built enclosure.
